Like many of our NHS projects, this project involved lots of moving parts to make the most of the space available. Here, that involved refurbishing Ward 28 to generate the required capacity for new build works elsewhere in Aintree Hospital – creating a temporary home for the department awaiting fresh surroundings.
Tasked with three roles – partition upgrades, plastering, and new suspended ceilings – we brought different specifications to each room, to create an environment that is both fit for purpose and inviting. A welcoming space to recover, a modern place to work, and an environment that patients can call home for years to come.
